Emporia Lands Landier! We welcome 5th Generation Cognac Producer Rémi Landier Into OUr Portfolio
Tuesday 5th March 2024 – Emporia Brands - Rémi Landier Cognac has appointed Emporia Brands, the leading premium spirits distributor, to introduce its exceptional cognacs and Charentais aperitifs to the UK market for the first time, with the initial shipment arriving in March 2024. Rémi Landier is a highly respected family distillery and wine estate, now managed by Geraldine LANDIER, the fifth generation of the family. Their range represents the true essence of the elegant Fins Bois cru, and notably includes an XO Cognac produced in collaboration with Joël Robuchon, who held more Michelin stars than any other chef in history.
Rémi Landier is heir to 250 years of experience, transmitted by the Benedictine monks of the Royal Abbey of Bassac who established the Chai des Pères, a vineyard and distillery in Cors acquired in the middle of the 20th century. Rémi Landier and his sons created their own eponymous brand of cognac to showcase the potential of its Fins Bois vineyards, driven by the desire to produce unique batches of cognac, with an aspiration to produce some of the best cognacs in the world. The soil is a mix of limestone and clay, and produces softer, fruitier styles of cognac than the chalk of Grande Champagne just a few kilometres away on the other side of the river Charente.

Geraldine Landier will be holding a number of events around the UK during March to support the release of this diverse range of Rémi Landier expressions as well as attending The Cognac Show on 22nd/23rd March where Rémi Landier have a stand (29) to showcase the expressions now available in the UK.

Emporia Brands will introduce a comprehensive range of Rémi Landier Cognacs and traditional aperitifs, including: Cognac VS, VSOP, XO, Special Pale Fins Bois, Napoleon Cigar Blend and Joël Robuchon XO. But Rémi Landier offers more than just cognac, its range will also include a selection of exquisite aperitifs: Pineau des Charentes White, Pineau des Charentes Red, Pineau des Charentes 10-Year-Old Rosé, Pineau des Charentes 10-Year-Old White, Capucin French Aperitif and the exotic Pineau des Charentes Cuvée d’Exception.
