Emporia Brands Unveils a New Gem to the UK Market with Composition Spirits Joining Their Portfolio of Premium Spirits
Monday 19th August 2024 – When was the last time you experienced something truly special? Do you remember the thrill of escaping your routine to venture into unchartered territory? Emporia Brands, renowned UK premium spirits distributor, is thrilled to announce the addition of the avant-garde Composition Spirits to its portfolio of premium spirits.
As with many great things, it all started with a casual encounter. In 2016, while exploring Colombia, Renaud de Bosredon stumbled upon a premium rum distillery that was randomly storing some barrels of Moscatel. Inspired by the distinct flavors of rum and sweet wine, Renaud had a groundbreaking idea: blend the two for an entirely new sipping experience.
Composition Spirits is here to amaze the UK spirits scene with its Composition N°1, a masterful blend of three aged rums: an 8-year-old from Barbados, an 8-year-old from Venezuela, and a 5 to 8-year-old from Nicaragua, combined with an ultra-rare 44-year-old Moscatel from Malaga, Spain. The blend doesn’t contain any artificial flavors, colors or added sugar. Composition N°1 is crafted in small batches and limited editions, ensuring each bottle is a rare treasure.
The blend was designed with the world's finest brands in mind, offering the experience of rare and old spirits that often remain unreachable. The nose offers rich sultanas, dried fruit, chocolate, and toffee. Maple sweetness blends with warm oak, dates, cacao, and vanilla on the palate, revealing treacle, coffee, and bitter chocolate. The finish is velvety with sweet coffee, figs, raisins, and a hint of spice.
Composition wants to challenge traditional spirits categories, question conventional boundaries and reimagine and harmonize unique flavors from diverse cultures. This creates a new category alongside high-premium spirits and atop the flavored drinks classification.
