Since 1821, Calvados Père Magloire reflect their goal of producing high-quality Calvados and Calvados Pays d’Auge with a subtle balance between authenticity and refinement.
The story of their Calvados starts in the Pays d’Auge Norman orchards. A land gifted with all graces by Mother Nature, this region benefits from a temperature climate born of hot currents from the Gulf-Stream and oceanic winds. There the apple tree reigns supreme and one hundred different varieties thrive. They appreciate the regional clement climate and the local soils of silicious clay and sub-soils of limestone, not too wet nor too dry.
The Cellar Master Jean-Luc Fossey develops a perennial and qualitative approach by developing the aromaitc finesse and complexity of the calvados ensuring the future of the brand.

Light golden straw in colour with visual clarity. A ripe peach nose up front followed by a blend of poached pear and cooked orchard fruits. A palate of elegant cherry notes mingle with Normandy unique apples, which underpin the slight acidity. Lengthy finish, finely textured and capped with a note of pepper.
