For 200 years Calvados Père Magloire has one goal - produce high quality Calvados and Calvados Pays d’Auge with a subtle balance between authenticity and refinement. Located in the heart of the Pays d’aude region, in Normandy, Père Magloire is one of the oldest Maison of Calvados, with their Calvados being part of Normandy’s heritage and of the national French legacy.
Results of the meticulous work, their Calvados and Calvados Pays d’Auge spirits reflect their decision to express the terroir through refined and authentic Calvados that takes pride in their origins. They choose the best apple ciders, distil those following the strict AOC regulations, and age in French oak for as long as it is needed for each of the Père Magloire Calvados expressions.

The Père Magloire VSOP Single Malt Cask Finish, limited edition innovation truly meets tradition. This single-distilled VSOP Calvados was first aged in French oak barrels and then further rested in ex Single Malt whisky barrels from Scottish islands of Islay and Jura.
Golden yellow in colour, this apple brandy is spicy and slightly smoky on the nose, and opens generously with cooked apple, wood and slight peaty notes on the palate.
