  • Jules Gautret’s dream came true when he was 21 years old. Although his future seemed to be mapped out for him as the heir to a vine-growing estate, he decided to write his own story. In 1847, he founded a House of Cognac in his own image: bold, dynamic and creative. He represented a new generation that was eager for success and discoveries. Today 170 years laters, the Jules Gautret House carries on its founder’s vision.
